Learn how we partnered with Taylor Wimpey in their zero-carbon ready homes trial, transforming the future of heating.
Taylor Wimpey selected Ecostrad as one of the most innovative electric heating brands in the UK to participate in their pilot programme for zero-carbon ready homes. The results of the programme were conclusive: among various heating solutions, including air source heat pumps, residents favoured Ecostrad’s products. Consequently, Ecostrad has been approved for supply within these homes for all future projects.

The Aperture Works project, located within the former Kodak building, involves the construction of 127 apartments – 44 one-bedroom, 66 two-bedroom, and 17 three-bedroom units. For this development, Ecostrad’s innovative heating solutions were selected. After showcasing our range of efficient electric heaters and discussing product features in detail, the iQ Plus panel heater and Fina-E towel rail were chosen as the ideal fit. The wider development will ultimately deliver over 2,000 homes on the former Kodak Factory site.
